Jason Moore, Major USMC (Ret.)

Mr. Moore is a seasoned national security professional and retired U.S. Marine Corps officer with over 20 years of experience operating at the intersection of military operations, intelligence, and international security cooperation. He founded Rockpoint Defense Group with Tyler Minix to provide agile, mission-focused solutions for defense and government clients, leveraging a career that spanned conventional and special operations units, strategic headquarters roles, and interagency assignments.

Jason's work extended across Africa, South America, Asia, and the Middle East. His varied assignments - from combat operations as a small team leader to rapid capability development and program management for the intelligence community - provides Rockpoint's clients with the knowledge and network necessary to guarantee mission success.

Jason holds a Bachelor's Degree from Emory University and Master’s degree in Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense University. Jason brings a unique blend of operational acumen, strategic insight, and cross-cultural fluency to Rockpoint’s work supporting defense, security, and development objectives worldwide.

Tyler Minix

Mr. Minix is an experienced broker and strategic advisor with a proven track record in high-value asset transactions, complex negotiations, and capital optimization. With over 15 years of leadership in structuring, managing, and repositioning more than $10 billion in assets, he brings a unique blend of financial acumen, market intelligence, and operational strategy to international defense and security cooperation initiatives.

Leveraging his expertise in finance, brokerage, and contract structuring, Mr. Minix specializes in aligning mission requirements with sustainable funding strategies, maximizing the return on investment for partner nations, and facilitating compliant, value-driven transactions for both acquisition and disposition of critical assets. His background in managing diverse portfolios and navigating multi-stakeholder agreements enables him to deliver results that strengthen capability, reduce waste, and unlock new sources of operational funding.

Mr. Minix holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University.
